由于仿人机器人具有人类的形状和相似的关节配置，所以模仿人类的运动来生存机器人的全身运动是个自然而然的想法。一般使用运动捕获系统[1]来获取人的运动数据，然后使用这些数据来控制机器人。然而，由于仿人机器人与人类身体特征之间有不可避免的差异，捕获的运动数据不能直接应用在机器人身上。
