经过50多年的发展，人工智能已成为涉及计算机、心理学、系统论、博弈论、哲学等领域的交叉学科。人工智能的研究是一项极富挑战性的工作，不论是它的复杂 性和学科交叉性，还是它那些带有根本性的思考和创新，其实都是人类对自身的不断认识和挑战。人工智能的研究，最终会不会使人类建成“智能体乌托邦”？这是 人们感兴趣的问题，尽管对人工智能（实际上是对我们人类本身）的透彻认识还有一段非常漫长而艰巨的路要走。

2009年11月18日，在超级计算机会议（SC09）上，来自IBM位于加利福尼亚州的Almaden研究中心的科学家和工程师宣布，他们研制出一个目前最大的超级计算机模拟大脑。以前的模拟达到只老鼠的大脑的水平，而他们能模拟神经元和突触的数目超过猫的大脑。但是蓝色大脑项目负责人称这是个骗局。

		<description><![CDATA[有个朋友跟我说，Wall-E可以称得上是宅男的样板。这个外表邋遢的小机器人日复一日重复着简单枯燥的工作，却把家里收拾得井井有条一丝不苟；生命中最灿烂的一段时光是一心一意地对“她”好，而丝毫不在乎对方的回应。
我觉得他说得很有道理，不过我还是对Wall-E的人工智能状况更感兴趣。看起来“他”——对于这样一个有人性的机器人，好像称呼“它”不太合适——的智商应该不低，不过情商似乎还有提升的空间。当然，这和大多数宅男也非常相似。
不过我们不能苛求太多。毕竟在今天，制造一台拥有人工智能（AI，Artificial Intelligence）的机器人还只能是一个梦想，虽然有些人说这个梦想马上就能成为现实。
