		<description><![CDATA[美国Berkeley Bionics研制出能够增强士兵力量和忍耐的“外置机械骨骼”，通常士兵们经常因为长时间背着沉重的战斗装备而体力透支，甚至会受伤。而HULC外骨骼会通过在人们身体下部安置的外置机器腿，将重量分担。据悉，这种 “外置机械骨骼”通过电池供电，能够监测到每个士兵的运动，配置“外置机械骨骼”的士兵甚至可以搬动200磅(约91公斤)以上的物体。“外置机器骨骼” 能够使士兵们拥有7英里(约11.3公里)每小时的最高速度，当需要时甚至可能爆发到10英里(约16公里)每小时。HULC外置骨骼上装有先进的计算机，可以保证“外置机械骨骼”和配戴者同步前进。
除了军事用途之外，HULC还能够帮助残疾人实现双足步行。
