		<description><![CDATA[浙江大学研制出可以打乒乓球的机器人――“悟”、“空”，名字很中国，外形也很中国，连运动项目也是中国的强项。两个机器人可以打很多回合都没问题，具有30个自由度，控制回路周期只有1ms，打球的反应时间在100ms以内，回球精度有2.5cm。

不过机器人打球的时候基本站着不动，只动一个手；其次还需要额外的摄像头来跟踪球的轨迹。而且国内机器人研发中需要的部分核心器件仍依赖进口，国内产业研发制造能力不足，仍是重要瓶颈之一。

<p>松下公司的Evolta机器人将于10月23日参加夏威夷举行的铁人三项比赛。机器人将在230公里的路程上完成自行车、游泳和跑步三个项目比赛，只使用三节充电电池（充电时间计入总时间）。松下工程师的为机器人专门设计辅助设备（如图）完成自行车、游泳和跑步的任务，由于Evolta的身高只有成人的十分之一，因此计划用一周时间完成整个路程。</p>

		<description><![CDATA[Robonaut 2 （R2） 在进入国际空间站6个月之后终于“苏醒”——宇航员终于有空把它拆箱了。

R2为仿人机器人，但是没有双腿，因为在太空中没有重力，所以双手也够了。R2每个胳膊有7个自由度，每只手有12个自由度，能够胜任一些太空任务了。R2的视觉系统由两个摄像头提供立体视觉，还有2个额外的事项头和一个红外距离摄像头辅助。
