老张不老，博五快要结束，博六就要开始。
且慢，这博士咋读了五年还没读完？
这个问题已经被老张的爸爸妈妈爷爷奶奶叔叔阿姨包括刚学会说话的侄子侄女问了无数遍，老张的耳朵都快起了老茧，回答也快把嘴皮磨破老茧了。
读个生物博士我容易么我。老张心想。
可是老张父母等不及啦，左邻右舍拼命地问：张爸，你儿子咋读书读到30岁还没个完呢？还真读上瘾啦？怎么，到现在对象还没找上？那你们老两口可得趁着这个机会好好享享清福哟……唉，不能和你多说了，我那孙子一准醒了……
老张父母心里那个不是滋味呀。想着当初从老张出生开始，他们为了老张跑在别的孩子前头，费了多大力气。老张这孩子以县第一名考上名牌大学的时候，老张父母 多荣耀。后来老张又出国了，老张父母多扬眉吐气光宗耀祖。可是这跑着跑着，老张这孩子咋还是不争气，落到别人后面了呢。眼见着隔壁那跟老张同年的学习不好 的王二孩子都光屁股满地跑了，学说广告词了，这老张咋还对象都没个影呢。
当然了，在老张父母心目中，老张那是老张他爸，而老张依然是张娃子。

The purpose of the 15th International Conference on Climbing and Walking Robots and the Support Technologies for Mobile Machines (CLAWAR2012) is to provide a venue where researchers, academics, scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world can come together to present and discuss the latest achievements, future challenges and exciting applications for mobile machines in general, and climbing and walking robots in particular.

Robotics Science and Systems (RSS) 2011 will bring together researchers working on algorithmic and mathematical foundations of robotics, robotics applications, and analysis of robotic systems. The conference is single-track, and the final program will be the result of a highly selective review process, to give attendees an opportunity to see the best research in all areas of robotics. The program will include invited talks as well as oral and poster presentations of refereed papers. The main conference will be preceded by one and a half days of workshops and tutorials. Every effort is being made to keep conference expenses affordable, particularly for student attendees. All papers presented at the conference will be made freely available for download on the Internet.
浙江大学研制出可以打乒乓球的机器人――“悟”、“空”，名字很中国，外形也很中国，连运动项目也是中国的强项。两个机器人可以打很多回合都没问题，具有30个自由度，控制回路周期只有1ms，打球的反应时间在100ms以内，回球精度有2.5cm。
不过机器人打球的时候基本站着不动，只动一个手；其次还需要额外的摄像头来跟踪球的轨迹。而且国内机器人研发中需要的部分核心器件仍依赖进口，国内产业研发制造能力不足，仍是重要瓶颈之一。

每年秋天，都会有一批博士新鲜人驾到。
自从接收博士生以来，我每年都会遇到相同的问题：“拿到博士学位要多长时间？”
这不是个好问题。
“你想要多长就有多长”，我都是这样回答他们。越过那重重障碍的时间可是没有极限的。
更好的问题应该是“如何能让一个博士生成功?”
我已经在4所大学看到许多或成功或失败的博士生，由此我推断出一个博士生的成功取决于3种品质。如果你正在读博，或正在思考这个问题，那么接着看吧。
